Readimo

Terms of Service

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Readimo ("we", "us") for using the Readimo app. By creating an account you accept them, our Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). If you do not agree, do not use Readimo.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to use the App Store where you live.
  • Use a name and username that are yours to use. Do not impersonate anyone.
  • You are responsible for everything done on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
  • One person, one account. Accounts made to spam, inflate follower counts or get around a ban will be removed.

2. Your content

What you write, photograph and record is yours. So that the app can work, you give Readimo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy and show your content to the readers your privacy settings allow. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other readers have legitimately shared or that we must keep by law.

You are responsible for your content and promise that you have the right to post it.

Camera and photos. Readimo lets you scan barcodes, photograph book covers and pages, and add photos and videos to your reading sessions. You alone decide what you capture and share. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to capture and share it, including the copyright of any book page, cover or image and the permission of any person in it. Readimo does not review what you capture and is not responsible for it. A short quote from a book you are reading is welcome. Do not share long passages of a copyrighted book.

3. Rules

Readimo is a place to share reading. We have zero tolerance for:

  • hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that targets a person;
  • sexually explicit content, or any sexual content involving minors;
  • violence, encouragement of self-harm, or illegal activity;
  • spam, scams, and mass or automated posting, following, commenting or mentioning;
  • sharing someone else's private information;
  • content you do not have the right to share.

Names, usernames, bios and comments with slurs or explicit language are refused before they are posted.

4. Reporting and blocking

You can report any post, comment, story, message or reader, and block or mute any reader, from the ··· menu or by holding a message. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and remove the accounts of people who post it. A reader you block cannot see your profile or reach you.

5. Book information

Book details and covers come from public catalogues and from readers. We work to keep them accurate but cannot promise they always are. You can ask for a correction from a book's page.

6. Imports from other services

You can bring your library from Goodreads, StoryGraph or Fable. You sign in to those services yourself, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. Readimo is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Things you may not do

Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with Readimo; access other readers' data without permission; use bots or scripts against the service; or use Readimo to break any law.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

9. Readimo Pro

Readimo is free to use. Readimo Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds features such as more than two books on Reading at once, unlimited notes, the Pacer, older calendar months and advanced stats. It is sold through the App Store under Apple's terms, and you see the price and what you get before you pay.

  • Plans. Readimo Pro Yearly and Readimo Pro Monthly. The yearly plan may start with a free trial; the paywall shows how long it lasts and the date of the first charge.
  • Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
  • Renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for the next period within the 24 hours before the current one ends.
  • Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings, or in Readimo under Settings > Readimo Pro. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).
  • When Pro ends. Everything you made stays yours. Books already on Reading stay there and you can keep reading them; you can add another once fewer than two are left.
  • Free week. We may offer a free week of Pro. It ends on its own and never charges you.
  • Prices. We may change prices. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and Apple asks for your consent where the law requires it.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Readimo is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Readimo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Readimo after that, the new terms apply.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws where you live.
